The Burden

You are carrying weight that does not belong to you. Other people's expectations, inherited obligations, roles you never chose — they pile up on your shoulders until you can barely stand.

This card appears when it is time to examine what you are carrying and ask: is this mine? Not every responsibility that lands on your plate is yours to carry. Not every expectation placed on you is yours to fulfill.

Putting down the burden is not selfish. It is honest. You can only carry your own weight. Everything else is a choice, and choices can be reconsidered.
