The Outsider

The child stands outside the gate, looking in at a world that seems to have no place for them. The Outsider carries the pain of not belonging — the feeling that everyone else received an invitation that somehow got lost in the mail.

This card appears when old wounds of exclusion are surfacing. Perhaps a current situation is triggering the childhood feeling of being left out, different, or unwanted. The pain is real, but it may be older than the current situation.

Here is the truth the Outsider needs to hear: belonging is not something others grant you. It is something you claim for yourself. You were never outside. You just believed you were.
